Why use we buy beats?

Selling your records is the same as selling anything! Its great to show a potential buyer what you have for sale, what condition they are in and an idea of how much you would like for your collection.

We are based in the North East of England! If you live close, within 1-2 Hour Drive we could arrange a viewing to come and look at your collection. If you live further away, a great way to show us what you have would be via recording a video, flicking though the collection or some of the records slowly so we can see what you have in the collection. This would give us an idea on what genre or type of collection to expect. Some records are more sought after than others and the price can vary per record.

how DO WE VALUE YOUR RECORDS?

We use a website called Discogs to get an idea of the value of a record. Discogs shows us the medium value, the last sold price and what date it was sold. It shows how many people have the record In their want list and how many of that record are currently for sale. We use this Discogs information when estimating the value.

Why cant I just use Discogs to sell my records

You can! Selling records individually will give a higher return. What we offer is a quick convenient option to save you time!

How Much do we pay ?

We offer competitive prices! As we buy collections we wouldn’t be able to offer the Discogs Value for your record or collection. To achieve this you would more likely need to sell via Discogs one by one. We Buy Beats offers value in selling your collection, efficiently in one transaction saving you time. For Bulk collections we would look at paying between 25% – 40% of the overall Discogs Medium value. Please keep in mind that if we were to sell the records one by one, they would sell for around the medium price and fees would occur for selling on Discogs.
